2011-2012 PARADE SEASON

MAY 2, 2011 - MONDAY    

      First General Membership Meeting at Fritchie Park 7 p.m.

JUNE 1, 2011 - WEDNESDAY

      Returning member applications and first dues installment of $150 are due.  New member applications will be processed after this date.

JULY 1, 2011 - FRIDAY                                       

     Second dues installment of $150.00 is due. New Member applications will be processed after this date.

AUGUST 1, 2011 - MONDAY                    

     General membership meeting at  John Slidell Park, 7 p.m.  IMPORTANT MEETING FOR ALL  MEMBERS.    Presentation of this year’s throws by various vendors.  All costume sizes for members are due from each lieutenant.

SEPTEMBER 1, 2011 - THURSDAY

     Final dues installment of $150.00 is due.  Payments received after this date must include  the first late fee of $50.00.  NO EXCEPTIONS

SEPTEMBER 4, 2011 - SUNDAY  

     Poker Run – Details will be announced.

 OCTOBER 2, 2011- SUNDAY

    Selene's Annual Poker Run- @ the DOCK OF SLIDELL

NOVEMBER 7, 2011 - MONDAY   

     General Membership at John Slidell Park 7p.m.

NOVEMBER 11, 2011- FRIDAY

     Painting with a Twist Night 7p.m. (see News Section for more information)

DECEMBER 15, 2011 - THURSDAY          

     Deadline to mail your Card for Coronation Seating.

JANUARY 1, 2012

     Last day to cancel your confirmed Coronation Seating.  After this day there will be a $100.00 fee for everyone who has not canceled your confirmed seating reservation.

JANUARY 13, 2012 - FRIDAY      

     Friday Night Pre-Coronation Party.  Details to be announced.

JANUARY 14, 2012 - SATURDAY

     Krewe of Selene Annual Coronation Ball at the Hilton Riverside Hotel, New Orleans.    Details to be announced.  FORMAL ATTIRE ONLY. (see Coronation Section for more information)

JANUARY 23, 2011 - MONDAY   

   Final general membership meeting.  Location to be announced.  Parade, float placement, loading schedule and rules will be discussed.  IMPORTANT MEETING FOR ALL MEMBERS.

FEBRUARY 17, 2011 - FRIDAY   

     FOURTEENTH annual Krewe of Selene Mardi Gras Parade.
